I’ve known my hearing was declining for a number of years, and there’s family history of hearing loss. So last year I finally got tired of constantly asking people to repeat things, and began researching hearing aid options. I spoke with several local audiologists, but it wasn’t until I called Quincy Audiology and met with Dr. Hannah Mahon that I was convinced to give hearing aids a try. Dr. Hannah has been great to work with. She is very knowledgeable and understanding of the issues, with the ability to explain things in terms I could comprehend. She patiently explained options, answered all my questions and gave me the confidence to start wearing hearing aids. From day one I have been very happy with the improvement in my hearing. Since then she has made some adjustments that helped further. I would (and have) strongly recommend Dr. Hannah. The support staff have been very helpful and accommodating as well.

Dr. Wand's demeanor made us feel comfortable immediately. She is so gentle and professional. My husband and I chose the very best person to lead us through an important area of my life. Any questions we had about hearing aids were quickly answered with a smile. The testing went smoothly and without hesitation. Actually, we fell in love with her! We would recommend her without hesitation.

It is not just the hearing instrument. It’s the person who is knowledgeable and willing to work with you. New products come out every day and, left with an instructional manual, it’s difficult to put the two together. Know your environment and explain it to the doctor. Dr. Kevin Ballard has worked with me to understand what makes the product work successfully. Being able to hear clearly and not just turn the volume up, makes life a lot more enjoyable. He makes the technology of the hearing instrument work to aid in general hearing and phone conversation, which was extremely problematic for me. I would highly recommend Quincy Audiology because they have improved my life significantly.
