Dr. kevin ballard: AUDIOLOGIST
Dr. Ballard was born and raised in Texas but has enjoyed living in the Midwest for the past twenty years. His initial pursuit in audiology was in research, but he discovered he liked clinical work and has been in practice for twenty-seven years. He worked at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for nine years before moving to Quincy in 1999 and was with McIntee ENT Center prior to organizing Quincy Audiology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, his Master of Arts degree from the University of North Texas and his Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology (now Salus University). Dr. Ballard is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is a member of the Illinois Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Ballard enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, sailing at Mark Twain Lake and finding good venues for food, music, and fine arts. He is also always looking for a good book to read.
Dr. Mandy Wand: AUDIOLOGIST
Dr. Mandy Wand was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Illinois University in Communicative Disorders. Dr. Wand completed her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Illinois State University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Illinois. Dr. Wand enjoys performing diagnostic testing and fitting amplification. Her goal is to offer solutions to provide her patients with a better quality of life. Aside from her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons Abram and Luke.
mandy cole: OFFICE MANAGER
Mandy Cole worked for Dr. Ballard at McIntee ENT Center and moved with him to Quincy Audiology in 2012 when he decided to open his own practice. She lives in Canton, Missouri with her husband and daughter Claire. When she is not taking care of clinic management, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as bowling with her friends.
luan clampitt: FOS MANAGER
Luan previously worked with Dr. Ballard at McIntee ENT Center and joined Quincy Audiology in 2013. Luan is a Certified Medical Assistant and has fifteen years of management experience. She is a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC) recognized by CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation). She lives in Golden, Illinois. She has two children and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and bowling.
sandy hoots: OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
Sandy Hoots worked for Dr. Moss two years prior to the merge of Moss Hearing Center and Quincy Audiology. Sandy was born in Quincy but lived out of the area for many years, returning to Quincy five years ago from Lake of the Ozarks. She has twenty years of banking experience plus experience in jewelry sales. Patients will find her friendly personality makes for a pleasant visit to our office. Personal interests include family time, antiques and reading.
laurel ellsworth: OFFICE RECEPTIONIST
Laurel Ellsworth was born and raised in Alaska but spent some summers in Quincy as a child. She is a certified health and wellness life coach and has a B.A. in Anthropology from Eckerd College in Florida. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time outside.
